Summary

Shang Cai, uncertain of his guess, decides to retreat from the vast labyrinth due to lack of preparation. The labyrinth spans a mountain range, making navigation difficult and food scarce. After wandering, he follows a little mouse, which leads him to a familiar area with two passages. Realizing he hasn't traveled far, he prepares to exit. Noticing a damp spot on the cave wall, he investigates and accidentally reveals a hidden downward passage. Despite the darkness, he descends and finds a long, narrow passage illuminated by faint lights. After several minutes, he encounters a heavy stone door but struggles to find a way to open it.
