Summary

Hao Qi is devastated to find Lan Ling Er alone in a tent in a perilous forest. Despite his internal power, he feels guilty for not protecting her. As a giant mantis threatens the tent, another man, Ba Bao Zhou, bravely distracts the creature, allowing Hao Qi to rush to the rescue. Ba Bao Zhou realizes Hao Qi possesses extraordinary internal power, rare among humans. They engage in a fierce battle against the mantis, which is intelligent but not as strong as its size suggests. Hao Qi, fueled by his superior internal skill, Yi Jin Jing, fights relentlessly without tiring. The mantis, sensing defeat, attempts to retreat just as Su Shiyan arrives, ready to join the fight.
