Learning to Slay Gods in the Mental Hospital.

Chapter 16: Always Here. [16]

Summary

Lin Qi Ye learns from Zhao Kong Cheng that the appearance of deities since the fog emerged could be due to either their manifestation from mythology or their awakening from hiding. The current deities on Earth are only a small fraction of the vast mythological system, and the whereabouts of Great Xia's gods remain unknown despite extensive searches. Zhao Kong Cheng speculates that the fog has not affected Great Xia, allowing its mythology to remain hidden. Lin Qi Ye discovers that the fog has also catalyzed certain individuals' abilities, termed "Forbidden Ruins," which can grow with mental power. These abilities are categorized into six realms based on the strength of one's mental power. Lin Qi Ye is currently at the 'Cup' realm, while Zhao Kong Cheng, lacking Forbidden Ruins, relies on his combat training to defeat monsters. Zhao Kong Cheng explains that Forbidden Ruins can be obtained through innate talent or special items, with his own being an auxiliary item used by the Night Watch.
