Chapter 159: The Dregs at the Bottom (1). [319]
Summary
Chu Tian sits cross-legged, frustrated with the poor foundational cultivation techniques he has been studying, copied by Chu Jie. The techniques, such as the "Hundred Claw Technique" and "Iron Skin Technique," focus on specific body parts, lacking a holistic approach to cultivation. Chu Tian reflects on the inadequacies of these methods compared to higher-tier techniques that refine the entire body, including the brain. He notes that Iron Shark and Copper Hammer, the strongest in the fortress, are only at the second level of flesh-refining. Despite the low standards of the Blood Killing Fortress, Chu Tian is puzzled about why they were sent there. Chu Jie, carefree and humorous, tries to lighten the mood by offering Chu Tian a greasy cake, which turns out to be inedible due to its foul smell. They both lament the uninhabitable conditions of the fortress.Full content
