Summary

In this chapter, Miao Yi and Yao Ruoxian are on a quest to summon the Nether Mantis, but face setbacks as the full moon night they anticipated turns stormy. Miao Yi reflects on his past and the responsibilities he bears, while Yao Ruoxian struggles with his own frustrations. As they search for a solution, Miao Yi proposes finding Old Bai, the one who taught him about the insect eggs, believing he holds the key to their problem. However, upon returning to the island where Miao Yi practiced, they find it abandoned and covered in dust, with no sign of Old Bai.
