Summary

In the Holy Yuan Continent, chaos ensues as a crowd rushes to see examination rankings, causing disruptions and prompting soldiers to disperse the onlookers. Amidst this, a plot unfolds where powerful families aim to kidnap the top scholar, Du Yu, to secure a lucrative marriage. Unbeknownst to him, he becomes a target. After a surprise abduction, he finds himself at a wedding ceremony, bound and in traditional attire, facing a wealthy bride's family. Despite the allure of wealth presented to him, Du Yu defiantly opposes the marriage, asserting his desire to control his destiny and rejecting the fate imposed upon him.
