Summary

Autumn brings a joyful harvest, and Zhu Zi expresses gratitude for his life and impending fatherhood. Conversations with a neighboring farmer reveal excitement about a new temple, believed to be exclusive to the Oni clan. Meanwhile, Wu Ming, the Suzerain, plans to disguise himself as the new abbot, Yama Sojo, to maintain control. As he rewards his servant, Mao Zhu, with a new name and recognition for his efforts, a mysterious ronin, Tu Fang Teng Yong, arrives to challenge the Oni clan's head, Oni Fayan. Tension builds as the ronin's presence stirs fear and respect among the guards, leading to a confrontation with Matsushita Kenichi, who is ultimately compelled to obey Wu Ming's command to bring the ronin to the dojo.
