Chapter 155: Zhang Ye's Confession Letter!. [155]
Summary
Zhang Ye was at the police station, being interrogated by Director Song Suo Chang and an old police officer. They were asking him about his relationship with Wang Cen, who he had beaten up after seeing him harass a female colleague. Zhang Ye claimed that he was just defending the woman and didn't mean to cause harm. However, the police were skeptical of his story and accused him of being jealous of Wang Cen's interaction with the woman. Zhang Ye denied this, saying that he didn't even know the woman's name and was simply standing up for what was right. The police continued to pressure him, but Zhang Ye refused to back down, pointing out that they were being biased and unfair in their investigation. Just as it seemed like the interrogation was going nowhere, a group of reporters burst into the courtyard, asking Zhang Ye about the allegations that he was framed for standing up for justice. The police tried to intervene, but the reporters surrounded Zhang Ye, eager to get a statement from him.Full content
