Summary

A massive flying vessel approaches mountain villages, causing panic among the tiny inhabitants. It descends near the Silent Corridor, a barrier where demonic creatures cannot survive, but also a harsh refuge for rebels against demonic rule. Cultivators from the Harmony and Joy Sect and Qingcheng Sect aboard the vessel begin attacking the humans below. Yue Chen, an injured independent cultivator, is largely ignored by others, except for a young cultivator named Hou Ding Feng, who secretly offers him an escape talisman. As the group moves through the Silent Corridor, they lose their magical powers, leading to panic and a sudden collapse that causes several cultivators to fall into a pit.
