Summary

Yan Chi Xia, a Taoist priest, enters the Ten Thousand Worlds Mall, a marketplace created by a Supreme Immortal. He encounters Yue Buqun, who introduces him to various powerful figures and factions within the mall. These include leaders of the Eight-Nation Alliance, masters of the Pre-natal realm, Zhu Wushi (the Iron Courage Marquis, recognized as the current Number One Master in martial arts), and Wang Xiao Er (the Number One Master of Taoist magic). Yue Buqun recounts the story of Möngke Khan, the Mongol ruler, and how a coalition of nations and sects failed to drive the Mongols out of the Great Song Dynasty's territory. He explains that the Mongols' withdrawal led to the Great Song Dynasty turning on its own people, causing a civil war and weakening their position. Later, a confrontation arises between Meng Ge (Möngke Khan) and Ying Zheng, with the latter challenging the former to a national war wager with 100,000 value points at stake. Zhou Yang, the shop owner, agrees to the wager.
