Summary

In this intriguing scene, Jiang Han, a talented yet flirtatious scholar, finds himself in an elegant courtyard playing a sophisticated word game with other scholars. During a couplet challenge by Master Wei, Jiang Han initially seems unable to respond, but a mysterious handsome young man cleverly helps him match the couplet through an ingenious interpretation of hand movements. Later, Jiang Han impresses everyone with an exceptionally challenging line about "smoke locking the pond's willows," which stumps all other scholars.
