Summary

Before night fell, Li Yan Qing and his companions arrived at the Tang Ji Inn in Bianjing, a small but significant establishment for locals from Tang Yin County. They were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a hearty meal before retiring for the night. The next day, Li Yan Qing woke early and, after breakfast, set out to find his father. On his way, he encountered a chaotic scene where two young men, Gu Tiezhu and Li Yan Biao, were being chased by ruffians. Li Yan Qing intervened, using stones to fend off the attackers and learned that they were after Li Dong Dong, who had been captured by a ruffian named Liu Da. After a brief confrontation, Li Yan Qing decided to rescue Li Dong Dong, realizing the complexities of the situation involving family ties and past grievances. Liu Da attempted to downplay the incident, suggesting a banquet to apologize, but Li Yan Qing remained cautious.
