Summary

In a tense confrontation, Zhao Xiao Min and the narrator rush to help Liu, who is in agony at Zhao Kang's grave. The old Dao Shi warns them to stay out of it, but they refuse to back down. As Liu reaches out for help, the Dao Shi prepares to harm her. Zhao Xiao Min intervenes, engaging the Dao Shi in combat. The narrator manages to save Liu's essence, transforming her back into a safer form. However, Zhao Xiao Min is injured in the process. The narrator confronts the Dao Shi, accusing him of wrongdoing regarding Liu and Zhao Kang. The Dao Shi vehemently denies any guilt, leaving the narrator conflicted about who is truly responsible for the turmoil surrounding Liu's fate.
