Summary

Wu Kong and Bajie enter an ancient realm after defeating a mysterious black shadow, guided by a white-robed elder. They encounter a mystical forest and a woman who introduces the first trial: the "Mirror of the Heart". This trial will reveal their deepest fears and hidden obsessions, challenging them to confront their inner selves. The surroundings transform, and Wu Kong finds himself back at Flower Fruit Mountain, facing an illusion of his master Tripitaka, who offers him a peaceful life away from worldly challenges.
