Summary

Li Yan Qing and his companions are traveling to the capital, where they encounter a mysterious boy, the Hei Mian Shao Nian, who is also a martial arts scholar. They discuss the desolate state of Kaifeng due to people moving to the capital for better opportunities. After a meal at a local eatery, they continue their journey and meet the Hei Mian Shao Nian again at a bridge. Tensions rise when he questions Wang Gui about his copper bow, leading to an escalating confrontation. Wang Gui draws his sword, and the Hei Mian Shao Nian responds with his cudgels, resulting in a duel. Li Yan Qing decides to let them fight, preparing to intervene if necessary.
