Summary

Zhang Yang is deeply worried about Bai Wan Qing's safety after failing to reach her by phone. He learns from the landlord that a man matching the description of a potential kidnapper has been living in the same building. As he rushes to find her, a gunshot is heard at the Zhongtian Network office where she is located. Upon arrival, he discovers a security guard has been murdered, and the shooter has fled towards the 10th floor where Bai Wan Qing is. Realizing she is in imminent danger, Zhang Yang urges her to hide until he arrives, fearing the gunman, who has a twisted obsession with her, will harm her.
