Summary

Xiao Chen awakens in a desolate place, guided by the Ghostly Immortal, who reveals he has been unconscious for 49 days. Concerned for Xian Er, whom he fears has been captured, Xiao Chen is urged to rest for three days before attempting to rescue her. After recovering, he learns of a powerful enemy pursuing the Ghostly Immortal, Liu Yuan Yu, who shares his tragic past of losing his family due to his act of saving a dying man. The two face soul controllers from the Jinbo organization, who ultimately decide not to take Liu Yuan Yu.
