Chapter 150: Master. [250]

Summary

Le Chen receives a jade slip from Shangguan Qiong Niang, containing her sword cultivation insights and techniques. She critiques his lack of swordsmanship and combat experience, suggesting he could have defeated a hill giant with better control of his magical treasure. Despite her mocking tone, Le Chen appreciates her guidance. She gifts him a fragile white skeleton, which he finds amusing yet symbolic of his own perceived uselessness. An old man, Qing Niu, introduces himself as the Grand Elder of the Blue Dragon Society and informs Le Chen of his new status as a disciple. Le Chen struggles with communication issues due to the demon's influence but eventually decides to take the skeleton with him. He performs a Blood Oath to bond with the skeleton, which magically assembles itself. Qing Niu warns him to keep the skeleton hidden from outsiders, revealing its origins as a summoning artifact from a necromancer.
