Summary

The narrative describes a tense confrontation where Song Ren uses a pistol to channel black lightning, severely injuring Mi Cai Nan, which leads to the Lei Men group scattering in fear. Following this, Song Ren learns about a surge of orders for his company’s universal system. He receives a call from Huilin, who offers to sell him her stake in a hotel if he helps gather evidence of her husband’s affair. Excited by the opportunity, Song Ren plans to catch the affair in action with help from Major General Huang Ying. Later, while shopping for upscale clothing with Mei Ying, their outing is interrupted by armed men who threaten them, revealing a connection to the Lei Men group seeking revenge for their commander’s death.
