Chapter 15: This Knife, I Hit!. [14]
Summary
Sui He Zhi felt embarrassed after a spar with Ouyang Ming, whose unexpectedly sharp blade shattered Sui's military knife. Despite Sui's strength, he realized the vast gap in their abilities. Ouyang Ming, who had just begun learning martial arts, suffered a wrist injury from Sui's kick. Chen Yi Fan, impressed by the quality of Ouyang Ming's blade, examined it and noted a slight flaw in balance, which Ouyang Ming admitted to. Chen Yi Fan was astonished to learn that Ouyang Ming forged the blade himself using selected iron ingots. He ordered Liu Zheng Ye to fetch more materials for Ouyang Ming to demonstrate his skills. Inside the tent, Sui He Zhi apologized for their earlier conflict, and Ouyang Ming expressed regret for damaging Sui's knife. They discussed hunting in the nearby woods, with Ouyang Ming warning Sui about the dangers involved.Full content
