Summary

In Yunzhou, within Datong Mansion, Cheng Fei drinks alone at a tavern until Chang Jie arrives, offering to keep her company. Cheng Fei cleverly provokes him, hinting at her father's disapproval. Later, she visits Yue Li Gu to apologize and share a secret but instead attempts to frame him for an attack. Chaos ensues when Chang Jie enters, mistaking the situation, leading to a violent confrontation. Despite Cheng Fei's intentions, Chang Jie is fatally wounded by Yue Li Gu. As the aftermath unfolds, Cheng Dong realizes the implications for their family, while Cheng Fei's misguided actions threaten their future. Yue Li Gu leaves, leaving the Cheng family in despair.
