Summary

In a southern tour, Chen Wanjun joins Empress Xian and Emperor Hong Li, who is haunted by memories of his late love, Empress Fucha. Chen Wanjun cherishes the moment, aware she will return to her time soon. Empress Xian confronts Hong Li about his lingering feelings for Fucha after he writes a poem expressing his love. Their heated exchange leads to Hong Li's harsh rejection, resulting in Empress Xian's house arrest. In anger, she cuts her hair, prompting Hong Li to further punish her by confining her to the Cold Palace, where she eventually dies from grief. Hong Li shows no remorse, blaming her for her fate.
