Summary

In Liu Ye Zhai, life has significantly improved since the drought, with villagers now healthier and new houses built. However, a commotion arises when a group of officers arrives, led by Old Fang. They seek Li Yi, who is shocked to learn he has been appointed as County Magistrate of Anxi County for his contributions to education. The villagers kneel in respect, and despite his disbelief and desire to refuse the position, Li Yi realizes he cannot decline without severe consequences.
