Summary

In a mysterious realm, Lin Jie and Chen San San encounter a massive wood spirit that shrinks to a meter-long, pitch-black tree. When Lin Jie attempts to touch it with ghost energy, she's nearly drained. Surprisingly, Chen San San picks up the wood spirit without harm, thanks to his jade pendant and the spirit's nature as an energy-absorbing entity from the Strange ruins. They decide to take the wood spirit with them to show the Blade Master, believing it might be useful in the future.
