Summary

Chi Yu Lei Zhen meets with Zi, who informs him about their plan involving Fu Lei. They use Zi's illusion magic, Yaemiya, to conceal themselves and travel to an orphanage that Fu Lei calls home. Upon arrival, they discover a dog kennel filled with lifelike automata dogs. As they explore further, they encounter Kobayashi, who has followed them. She reveals her intention to rescue Fu Lei and eliminate any obstacles in her way. The group finds a heavily sealed room that contains Yomi, a talking dog who has been imprisoned. Yomi learns that he is being used as leverage against Fu Lei and is invited by Kobayashi to leave with them. After Kobayashi frees Yomi from his magical collar, he agrees to join them, though he warns that what they will see in the orphanage will be horrifying.
