Summary

Sima Ru, after consuming the Five Stone Pill, loses all sensation and humorously mocks Xia Hou Ling, the Minister of State. Chaos ensues as officials, influenced by the pill, engage in wild antics, including a wolf causing havoc and high-ranking officials jumping into a lake. Amidst the laughter, Cao Yan throws a durian at one official, knocking him out. The scene escalates with officials sinking in the lake, while others compose poems and sketches. The Emperor, donning white garments, leads a mock mourning for the unconscious officials. As the absurdity unfolds, Cao Xian and Lu Gu witness the madness, reflecting on the degradation of the elite and questioning their ability to govern. Lu Gu urges Cao Xian to consider raising an army to cleanse the court for the sake of the common people.
