Summary

In a chaotic world filled with calamity, the awakening of fierce beasts and mysterious souls of calamity occurs, all drawn towards Bai Xiaochun, who has just successfully refined spirit pills. As he exits his cave, he is attacked by a giant black scorpion, which he easily defeats. However, he soon finds himself surrounded by a swarm of soul spirits—terrifying entities that disintegrate any beasts they touch. Despite his earlier excitement, Bai Xiaochun panics as he realizes the danger he is in and flees. In a desperate attempt to escape, he throws one of his spirit pills, distracting the spirits long enough for him to get away. As he looks back, he sees a little girl spirit consume the pill, her demeanor changing ominously, and she calls out to him, prompting him to flee even faster.
