Summary

Yang Qi takes a package from Gao Qing, which contains a note directing him to Bao Guang Qu, an area under renovation and mostly deserted. Despite the dangers outside the military base, he promises to deliver the item. The next morning, he discovers the package is missing and prepares to leave with his companions, Shi Hao Fan and Zhao Tuo. As they journey through the Deep Forest, they notice an unusual dryness, leading to the realization that they may have encountered a drought demon, a legendary creature associated with disaster.
