Summary

Gu Yue showcases her powerful mastery over sulfur elements, becoming a formidable soul master with her second soul ring. Xie Xie scouts ahead while Zhang Yang Zi's little black eagle assists from the rear, still recovering from a prior battle. They are pursued by a pack of Fire Magic Lions, drawn to their spiritual power. The group recalls their previous encounter with these dangerous beasts, which left them severely burned. Tang Wu Lin orders a retreat, aware that only by advancing to the third ring could they hope to resist the lions. As they flee, the Fire Magic Lions' roar deters other soul beasts, allowing Tang Wu Lin and his team to run without obstruction. Wang Jin Xi activates a rescue signal, transferring unabsorbed spiritual power to his teammates. Gu Yue uses her elemental mastery to create an ice storm, temporarily buying them time. Zhang Yang Zi proposes a risky plan to lure soul beasts from the sky, believing it could distract the Fire Magic Lions. He climbs a tree, spots numerous flying soul beasts, and discovers a nest with large eggs. He hurls one of the eggs to attract the beasts and activates his rescue signal, successfully drawing the flying soul beasts away and dissipating his spiritual power. As the team benefits from Zhang Yang Zi's sacrifice, they feel the strain of absorbing more soul power. However, tragedy strikes when Xie Xie is suddenly killed by a dark golden flash, leaving Tang Wu Lin in shock as he narrowly avoids a similar fate.
