Summary

Sha Lang, realizing his impending death, shares his concerns about the fate of the Teng Ya tribe's women and children, who were captured by the Tianlang tribe. Shi Mu offers to rescue them, despite the risks involved. After a heartfelt exchange, Sha Lang passes away, leaving his daughter Sha Jiao and others in grief. Shi Mu then prepares to chase after the Tianlang tribe, asserting his need to try and save the captives. Sha Jiao attempts to accompany him but is told to stay behind for her safety. As Shi Mu departs, the narrative shifts to the Tianlang tribe, who celebrate their victory and the spoils taken from the Teng Ya tribe. However, the captives are mistreated, and as one barbarian prepares to lash out at a Teng Ya woman, he is suddenly killed by a black arrow, signaling a looming confrontation.
