Summary

Li Ru visits Fang Bo Shan, the city lord of Luoye City, seeking his help against Cheng Dalei, who has been causing trouble for her family. Despite her husband's recent death, she offers a luminous pearl as a gesture of goodwill. Fang Bo Shan, more interested in the pearl than in executing Cheng Dalei, agrees to help manage Li Ru's daughter, Su Ying, who is squandering family assets. Meanwhile, Su Ying, feeling abandoned, meets the little white wolf, who has been watching over her. They gather with the Hamagura bandits, who are enraged by her situation. Su Ying proposes a plan to capture Fang Bo Shan during his monthly fishing trip to exchange him for Cheng Dalei's freedom, as tomorrow is the twentieth.
