Summary

After the demon lord erased the Cross True Art, he lost all memory of it, highlighting the power of the Great Emperor Kong Ming's realm. Only the inheritors of the Cross True Art can remember it, and among the five, only one will prevail. Nie Li resolves to keep his comprehension of the Cross True Art a secret, even from Ye Zi Yun and Xiao Ning Er, fearing disaster if it is revealed. As he recites the art, his soul power increases, and a mysterious sprout begins to grow within his sea of souls. Nie Li and his group, including Du Ze and Lu Piao, continue their search for the Radiant Stone. Wei Nan scouts the area but finds nothing. Upon reaching the mountains, Nie Li discovers a village built in trees, inhabited by the Silver Wing Clan, where miners are forced to extract Crimson Blood Crystal. A Silver Wing girl, Hong Yue, confronts Nie Li, who claims to be from the Silver Radiance family. She welcomes him and leads him to her father, revealing that their clan has been isolated since the Dark Ages. Hong Yue explains that there are thirteen families in the mountains, with five being enemies. Nie Li learns that he must be cautious about revealing his identity. They arrive at a palace where Nie Li sees a young man being whipped, who is revealed to be a lowly bastard from the Silver Wing family.
