Summary

Lu Chen, a servant disciple of the Kunlun Sect, starts his day with fellow disciples, sharing their exhaustion from the demanding work. They arrive at the Fragrant Garden to tend to hawthorn trees, but the absence of a fellow disciple, He Chang Sheng, raises concerns. As the day progresses, He Chang Sheng is reported dead under mysterious circumstances, leading to a flurry of rumors about his demise, including speculation of bullying and murder. The Kunlun Sect responds with urgency, sealing off the area and investigating the incident. Meanwhile, Lu Chen tends to his injured dog, A Tu, unaware of the brewing storm in the sect. The following day reveals that He Chang Sheng's death may be linked to the Demon Cult, inciting anger among the sect's leaders and leaving the community in turmoil.
