Chapter 140: Thunder Eagle's Guardian. [140]
Summary
Ao Yunxing and Yuan Meng Yao recognized Han Feng Xue, while Casey and his son, Kyle, did not. Han Feng Xue exuded an intimidating aura that made Kyle back down in fear. Despite Casey's displeasure with Kyle's behavior, he felt helpless due to Kyle's upbringing. Han Feng Xue's disdainful command to Ao Yunxing shocked everyone, as it was bold to speak to a prince that way. Ao Yunxing, realizing Han Feng Xue's newfound power, chose to leave rather than confront him. Kyle, however, foolishly challenged Han Feng Xue, leading to a violent confrontation where Han Feng Xue killed him effortlessly. Casey was left in disbelief and rage as he mourned his son. Han Feng Xue then ordered Ao Yunxing to leave, which he did, further showcasing Han Feng Xue's authority. Afterward, Yuan Kai approached Han Feng Xue, expressing gratitude, but Han Feng Xue felt disdain for him due to past schemes. As they prepared to leave, Bing Xin Yun, who had feelings for Han Feng Xue, displayed jealousy towards Yuan Meng Yao. Han Feng Xue and his companions celebrated late into the night, and upon leaving, an officer informed Han Feng Xue of a gift from the emperor: a personal guard of Thunder Eagles. Han Feng Xue was impressed by the elite unit, which was loyal only to him. As they prepared to depart for the capital, Han Feng Xue shared a tender moment with Bing Xin Yun before taking off into the sky with his new guard, leaving her emotional but proud.Full content
