Summary

In Suzhou, at Xiangzhang Garden, Li Yun Dao and Little Tao Zi meet her friend Su Yu, a charming Jiangnan woman. Despite her beauty, Su Yu chose to return to Suzhou, achieving success as an assistant director. The scene shifts to Zhu Haotian, a PhD returnee from Japan, who is introduced to Li Yun Dao. Tension arises as Su Yu tries to undermine Li Yun Dao, while Zhu Haotian, impressed by Little Tao Zi's beauty, sizes up Li Yun Dao. As the dinner unfolds, Li Yun Dao reflects on his past while being cared for by Little Tao Zi, who shows affection despite the social dynamics at play.
