Summary

A young girl, around 13 or 14, catches Yuan's attention from a teaching building. He realizes she is not the target of a mastermind, but there are others involved. Yuan faces a choice: follow the mastermind or escape. Choosing to run, he feels a wave of killing intent as zombies surge in. The girl appears, urging him to enter a protective barrier. Suddenly, water bursts forth, sweeping the zombies away, allowing Yuan to escape into the sewer. After a struggle, he emerges in an alley, only to confront a fast zombie. Despite a valiant effort, he is injured but resolves to fight back fiercely.
