Summary

Yue Chen feels uneasy despite obtaining the door-knocking plate for the Headmaster's cave, which has rich spiritual energy. He realizes he needs Spirit Stones for effective cultivation. As he contemplates his situation, he meets Xiang Yun, who discusses closing the mountain gates and managing resources for their sect. They agree on Spirit Stone distribution, with Yue Chen prioritizing his cultivation over profits. However, their peace is shattered when dark clouds gather ominously, and a voice from the clouds threatens vengeance for a past wrong. A massive skeletal hand descends, causing chaos, but the mountain's protective formation withstands the attack. Despite this, the skeletal hand later destroys Yunshui Town, leaving Yue Chen filled with anger and helplessness as he reflects on the lives lost.
