Summary

A surge of magical power twisted a silver spear, sending Miao Yi flying. He was saved by Heitan, but they were soon confronted by a scruffy old man wielding a red-glowing mace. The old man mocked Miao Yi and demanded control over some valuable creatures Miao Yi possessed. Miao Yi explained he could not share the telepathic control method. After testing Miao Yi's claims, the old man realized the creatures only responded to him. Envious, he pressed Miao Yi for the source of the creatures, leading to the revelation that they were Nether Mantis eggs from the inaccessible vast world of red dust.
