Summary

Zhang Ye, after being injured in a fight with burglars, was being taken care of by his landlord, Rao Ai Min, and her daughter Chen Chen. Despite his boasts of being a master of Taekwondo, Zhang Ye was actually in a lot of pain and struggled to endure the antiseptic treatment from Rao Ai Min. Chen Chen teased him about being embarrassing, and Rao Ai Min scolded him for being pathetic, but ultimately showed maternal love by feeding him and letting him stay the night. Zhang Ye was grateful and eventually fell asleep, exhausted from the day's events. Rao Ai Min turned out to be a fierce and skilled woman who was not afraid to take on burglars, and her relationship with Zhang Ye and Chen Chen was a mix of tough love and maternal care. The story ended with Zhang Ye sleeping and Rao Ai Min reading a book downstairs, with a hint of more to come in the next chapter.
