Summary

Li Ru, enjoying a sunny afternoon, is eager to find a capable individual to assist her. Her brother, Li Da Tou, introduces Gongyang, a tall and intimidating hunter with a troubled past. Despite his bad temper, Li Ru is impressed by his build and decides to take him on. Meanwhile, Qiao Ye celebrates his recent success in capturing Cheng Dalei but returns home to find his family held hostage by masked bandits. They offer him a deal involving a substantial sum of silver in exchange for helping their leader, Cheng Dalei, who is imprisoned. Qiao Ye realizes the gravity of the situation and the wealth of the bandits, leaving him in a precarious position.
