Chapter 139: It Wasn't Me, Ah! (Third Update) [138]

Summary

Bai Xiao Chun is startled by a commotion outside his attic, where North Shore disciples accuse him of stealing undergarments from female disciples. Despite his protests of innocence, the situation escalates when a red squirrel, trained to find the missing items, leads the group to a room filled with belly bands. The disciples turn against Bai Xiao Chun, who is bewildered and desperate to explain his innocence. As he tries to defend himself, Tie Dan, his battle beast, inadvertently reveals its involvement by dropping a stolen belly band. The crowd initially sympathizes with Tie Dan, believing it was manipulated, but their anger shifts back to Bai Xiao Chun. After the disciples leave, Tie Dan sneaks out to cause more chaos, stealing food from the North Shore disciples, which leads to further outrage against Bai Xiao Chun when the matriarch of Iris Peak intervenes to protect Tie Dan. Bai Xiao Chun, oblivious to the chaos, continues his meditation, unaware of the trouble his creation has caused.
