The Gate of the Mysterious Realm

Summary

Shi Mu fights off a pack of Wind Wolves, killing the lead wolf and using its blood to refill his water pouch. After resting, he continues his journey and finds a cave to practice his celestial techniques. Suddenly, he is interrupted by three horses, two ridden by barbarians, Sha Xing and Sha Jiao, and one, a Four-Not-Like ox, chasing after them. Shi Mu defeats the ox and earns its obedience. The barbarians thank him and invite him to their Tengya tribe's Crow God Festival, which is hosted by their father, the tribe's priest. Shi Mu accepts and follows them to the tribe, where he sees crows, which are their father's spirit beasts, circling around Sha Xing and Sha Jiao.
