Summary

Old Ancestor Huojia is alarmed by Gu Du's intention to kill, realizing it signifies a widespread massacre. Despite being strong, Huojia cannot match Gu Du's indifference to life. After a confrontation, Gu Du reveals he possesses a mystical scroll called the Sutra of Life and Death. Ye Hao, intrigued, learns about its powerful capabilities from the Tree of Creation, which insists on the importance of divine script. As Ye Hao studies the sutra, he begins to harness its deathly aura, astonishing Gu Du. The two acknowledge the sutra's potential, with Gu Du expressing a newfound purpose in life through its teachings, despite feeling hopeless in his own path.
