Summary

Chu Feng and Su Rou regain their strength after a tumultuous event. Despite Chu Feng being injured, he tries to reassure Su Rou, who is upset by his wounds. He plans to leave Suzaku City without saying goodbye to Su Mei to avoid worrying her. Chu Feng reveals that he suspects a maid from Su Rou's residence poisoned him, using a floral scent to weaken him. Su Rou realizes he has deduced the mastermind behind the betrayal, but both are powerless to act against them. After Chu Feng leaves, Su Hen enters and expresses regret for putting Su Rou in a difficult position due to the powerful Shangguan family. He believes that aligning with Chu Feng is crucial for their family's safety. Su Rou, however, warns her father that if they force Chu Feng’s hand, he could retaliate against both the Shangguan and Su families. She insists that nothing happened between her and Chu Feng, leaving Su Hen in disbelief. As Su Rou departs, her father's complex emotions suggest he may have miscalculated the situation.
