Summary

A Lie Ku expresses his intention to hunt the Dream Fox despite regulations. Back at the inn, Mei Lun examines documents about the Dream Fox, noting its erratic movements centered around Xijiamali. He cancels his hotel room and heads into the rocky forest east of the city, where his dog Spike eagerly hunts, establishing dominance in the area. Meanwhile, a group of four hunters, including a protected individual, detects the Dream Fox's presence. The central figure uses a tracking skill to confirm its trajectory. Spike, now deep in the forest, battles various transcendent beings, while Mei Lun follows, converting defeated beings into energy. As chaos ensues in the forest, other hunters notice the disturbance. Three hunters, initially cautious of the Silverback Gorilla's territory, find it gravely injured and attempt to claim it. Mei Lun, however, swiftly kills the gorilla and claims it for the Fairy Tale Kingdom, leaving the hunters in awe. He inquires about the Dream Fox and learns of a specialized pursuit team from the Fox Hunters Alliance. After encountering this team, Mei Lun reveals he is also a member of the Alliance and requests information about the Dream Fox. The Pursuer provides directions to the last known location of the Dream Fox, and Mei Lun heads off to follow the lead.
