Summary

Jinnarā Bodhisattva is devastated by Ah Xiu's suicide despite her earlier promise to live well. He finds her lifeless in a valley and, using magical techniques, barely revives her. Ah Xiu professes her love and willingness to sacrifice for him, awakening Jinnarā's realization of his own feelings. He vows to save her, seeking help from Buddha. However, upon arriving at the Mystical Mountain, he faces condemnation for bringing a mortal into the sacred space. The Buddha questions his actions, highlighting the seriousness of developing attachments to mortals. Jinnarā's love for Ah Xiu drives him to challenge this judgment, seeking redemption for both.
