Summary

A young man, frustrated after being ousted from a shop while trying to acquire the Ruyi Lu formula, plots to intercept a carriage carrying it. He gathers a group of ruffians, confident in their ability to overpower the weak scholar and his muscular protector. However, when the carriage arrives, they are quickly discovered. A chaotic battle ensues, with the guards and Lao Fang efficiently defeating the attackers. As the young man realizes his plan is failing, he attempts to leverage his brother-in-law's authority, but the guard leader's cold demeanor suggests that fear will not save him.
