Summary

Ye Feng, confronted with death, reflects on his life but refuses to succumb easily. Determined to fight back against a crocodile, he seizes a fleeting chance, using a knife to strike at its eye as it attacks. His bold move forces the crocodile to retreat, allowing him to swim to safety. Although his backpack sustains damage from the crocodile, he salvages most of its contents. As he travels downstream, he observes several crocodile corpses, a result of his earlier actions. Finally, reaching his destination, he feels a mix of emotions, knowing the challenges he's overcome. He prepares to start a fire for the night, aware of the dangers that lurk in the jungle.
