Summary

In a chaotic battlefield filled with sand and screams, Kobayashi and Charlotte are protected by the dragon-shaped automaton, Xi Ge Meng Te, as they face a group of attackers. While Charlotte is frustrated by her inability to fight, Kobayashi takes charge, realizing the attackers have come prepared to injure her. He confronts them, angry about their ambush and the unfairness of ganging up on one person. Kobayashi showcases his incredible combat skills, swiftly taking down the attackers one by one despite their numbers. His strength and fighting style leave the onlookers in awe, while Charlotte and Xi Ge Meng Te are impressed by his prowess. After defeating the last of the attackers, Kobayashi declares his disdain for being ambushed, claiming he has double standards. Charlotte, initially irritated by Kobayashi's interference, eventually asks for their names. Chi Yu Lei Zhen and Ye Ye, another puppeteer and his automaton, engage in playful banter. However, Chi Yu Lei Zhen chooses to back out of a duel with Charlotte, leading to her frustration. He uses a smoke bomb to escape with Ye Ye, leaving both Charlotte and Kobayashi bewildered and annoyed.
