Summary

As they pulled, the rope slackened, and Song Ren emerged, warning everyone to block the tunnel. They soon encountered a monstrous creature, identified as a corpse-eating beast, not the feared Shi Mo. Song Ren used a thunder curse to summon dark clouds, revealing the Shi Mo, which he defeated effortlessly. Afterward, they sought the Soul-Returning Herb, essential for a resurrection potion, which was rumored to grow atop the Cang Lang White Tower, guarded by an immortal eagle.
